About me

Dr. Einat Gil is a distinguished consultant, researcher, and leader in educational innovation, specializing in learning design and the strategic integration of advanced technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education.

Most recently, she served as the Chief Researcher and Co-Director at the Ministry of Education’s Institute for Applied Research of AI in Education. In this national-level role, she supervised a portfolio of nine applied research projects with nationwide impact and was a key partner in the steering committee for Israel’s National Program for AI in Education.

Einat’s career is marked by a proven ability to build innovation from the ground up. She is the former founding Director of the Center of Innovation & Learning Design at the Kibbutzim College of Education and the former Head of the Teaching Innovation Division at Levinsky College of Education, where she also held a Tenure Track Lecturer position. As a lecturer, she has designed and taught courses in both B.Ed. and M.Ed. programs.

Her deep academic foundation includes two postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Toronto and the Fields Institute. Her research focuses on the intersection of pedagogy and technology, including Future & Hybrid Learning Spaces, innovative learning environments, and the application of AI in education.

Today, Dr. Gil leverages her extensive experience as a consultant for academic institutions, educational organizations, and EdTech companies, guiding them through innovation processes and complex digital transformations. Her client portfolio includes the University of Haifa, the Ministry of Education, Beit Berl College, Kay College and WildZebra.

Learning Innovation Center, Founding Director

A three year leadership project, founding the Center of Innovation & Learning Design at The Kibbutzim College of Education, which included: vision, planning, technology integration, staffing, training, program design and ongoing management.

Digital Pedagogy transformation

Key member of the Digital Learning steering committee, leading a three year process for updating digital teaching & learning for lecturers. Based on theoretical standards, the process resulted in training programs and internal certification.

Future Learning Spaces (FLS)

Designing and establishing two FLSs in two Colleges of Education, creating new pedagogies and integrating them into academic courses and the teaching culture.

Head for Teaching Innovation & Excellence 

Co-founding the center for teaching innovation & excellence, and leading the teaching innovation team.
The team authored teaching materials and played a major role in the transformation to online learning during Covid19, mentoring the Profs in online, hybrid, f2f courses.


Establishing an Immersive Learning Space

Establishing an open-patform immersive space that allows students to experience and create immersive learning environments for diverse knowledge domains.

Learning-design, technologies-enhanced leadership

Leading learning-design innovation teams in various projects and institutions, integrating pedagogies, technologies and learning processes into a learning products and design patterns.
